love your character drawings. THis piece is great, awesome line and great color splashing style!!
wow...everytime I see that shot it reminds me of the tension I even felt during that standoff. I was young at the time, but beginning to form my own opinion on things. I remember having such a hard time "choosing sides" in the Oka standoff. This drawing captures that tension and gives a sense of that same feeling in the soldier. As I remember it the army guys didnt really want to be doing what they were doing...but were bound by duty to stand there and face the faceless and seemingly fearless protestors. Nice work jay.
Jay, how come you donèt have Canvasès out thurÉÉ You should do one up if you havenèt already and then sell it to me for cost of said Canvas plus paint slash marker plus time at your discretion per hour equals 10.99.....yah but I dig the Max smart one. Later
